The seeds of a radical shift of emphasis and broadening of scope on scientific studies were sown in 1993 with the establishment of Computer Science Department at T.B.M.L. College, Porayar. The department is renowned for imparting state of the art education and preparing its students for real world challenges. It offers B.Sc., (CS), M.Sc., (CS), B.C.A and M.C.A courses with qualified faculty members.
Computer Technology has become an integral part of our daily life. It is a driving force for almost every technological development. Computer Technology is the study of the theoretical foundations of information and computation and their implementation and application in computer systems.

Guest Lectures and Seminars are organized to gain knowledge on the latest trends in the field of Information and Communication Technology.
Apart from the academic, we also provide add-on courses like Multimedia and Network Administration. Our students go for an industrial visit to widen their knowledge. We also conduct technical events like Web designing, Connection, Marketing, Talent Hunt, and Short Film to face the new challenges in our horizon. The department aims at shaping the students with high discipline and a good academic exposure. Many of our students are placed in MNC’s like HCL, HDFC bank, Amazon.com, IDBI Bank, Accenture, Wipro, etc.
