WHAT TYPE OF COMMUNITY WE HAVE AT TBML?
Our Student volunteers belonging to the National Cadet Corps (NCC), National Service Scheme (N.S.S) and the Youth Red Cross (YRC) are in no way inferior to others in community services and Nation Building activities. The awareness and literacy programmes in villages, Blood donation Camps, relief works during natural calamities, health camps, village reconstruction works etc executed by our Student Community are continuously reported in all the leading news papers and electronic media. This is the kind of community we have, a warm, close-knit student community, where our close relationship to the nation reminds us always of the importance of faith and values and where strong values result in life-changing actions.
LIFE ON CAMPUS IS ONLY AS STRONG AS THE STUDENTS make it that’s way, at TBML, we think we have one of the most alive campuses you’ll ever experience. Our student organizations, our sports teams – both intercollegiate and intramural, where students express themselves just as powerfully as they do in class are well known in the State. Drawing on their previous experience in schools, our students bring passion to their extracurricular activities whether it’s singing in the chapel choir, or starring on a varsity team. That passion for participation, involvement and leadership permeates throughout the student body because TBML encourages students to continue honing the skills they have already displayed in schools and motivates them to achieve a higher level of accomplishment.
