About the Course

The Bachelor of Commerce in Co-operation is a three-year undergraduate degree program that combines core commerce subjects with specialized knowledge in the co-operative sector. It trains students in *co-operative accounting, business law, auditing, rural development, and organizational behaviour*, preparing them for careers in the co-operative movement and beyond.

This course is especially relevant in regions where agriculture, self-help groups, and community finance play a major economic role.

Curriculum Overview

Structured under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), the curriculum is distributed over six semesters:

  • Core Subjects: Principles of Co-operation, Co-operative Management, Co-operative Accounting, Banking Practices, Co-operative Law, and Agricultural Economics
